"O'zapft is" - here we go!
Hope you are getting ready for the most exciting festival of the year , the Oktoberfest in München. Though the name says Oktober it starts in mid of september and ends in early October. A typical bayern festival celebrated traditionally since 1810. For the first time in 1810 it was celebrated in 1810, but the following years they moved it forward for better weather , as september is warmer than october.

Daily Tent Closing Time: 11:30pm The "Käfer Wiesn-Schänke" and the "Weinzelt" are open until 1am. Last call for alcohol: 12:15am. Sales Booths (souveniors, cigarettes, etc.) Monday - Thursday: 10am - 11:30pm Friday: 10am - 12am (midnight) Saturday: 9am - 12am Sundays and holidays:9am - 11:30pm

 | On weekdays , one can find a seat in the biergartens (tents) till 17hrs and on weekends till 10:00hrs. So make sure you are well ahead in time to secure a place and enjoy the smoke. |
