Many of you might have knew this by now. If not read on..
The main factor where you can see if you got a chance to increase your net income is the HEALTH INSURANCE PREMIUM. Check if you are paying a heavy sum , might be above 14% of your brutto as monthly premium. Compare the premium you pay with the other health insurance companies and make a switch which could get you 30 to 45 euros more on your payslip. Here is the link where one can compare the monthly premiums from different firms. It doesn't change the policy or any other services provided with hospitals. The cheapest is IKK Direkt which charges 12% of the gross, and if you are already by AOK Bayern or Hessen etc, can save upto 2.5% which is not bad. NOTE: From 2009 onwards , all the gesetzlichen health insurances will be having same premium , so if you plan to change, do remember this. May be the one you got now has better service model. |
