What is this? Its a financial support given to the citizens of developing countries* who come to Germany as foreign students for higher education or for employment / training to further improve their skills and want to leave to their home or other developing countries for further jobs, business etc. This is known as Reintegration program provided by Arbeitsamt (Employment Office) Who can apply? Citizens of developing countries with a minimum of 2 years of stay in Germany with a valid visa. Conditions: - Proof of successful degree certificate for students
- Employees must produce the proof
Who cannot? - Scholarship holders from any source, sponsored candidates.
- Partial scholarships holders are subject to review on individual basis as per the information from the Arbeitsamt.
In Offer Financial support for return journey to home and other transport costs like cargo etc. The return journey includes also for family and kids, if applicable and the support given has some maximum threshold. This depends on the nationality of the applicant. What to do? - Applicants must apply to ZAV( Zentralstelle für Arbeitsvermittlung ) , Frankfurt or to associated regional agencies with the following documents.
- Completely filled application form.
- CV
- Proof of degree research or studies or work experience with references.
- Photocopy of the passport with copy of the residence permit (visa)
- Current Wohn Anmeldung(house registration) proof from the Meldebehörde / Rathaus / Stadthaus not older than 4 weeks
- Documents of the future employer in the returning country with salary in local currency or euro equivalent, description of job in original (Deutsch, French or in English, rest needs to be translated from a certification authority). This can be sent within 3 months of return journey.
- All similar requirements applicable appropriately for spouse and kids.
Special Conditions - The request should be placed in time, i.e. after possibility at least 3 months before the planned return journey.
- A return obligation is not connected with the filing of an application.
- The request can be withdrawn at any time, if the circumstances of the applicant has
changed. If necessary, money received are to be paid back. - If the promotion is taken up, the final departure must be proven.
- With the high number of requests and only limited the budgetary appropriations the available a selection must be accomplished among the applicants. This happens in the context of the discretion according to criteria of development policy. These criteria are among other things:
- • to be preferentially promoted on the one time return to the LLDC's, i.e., "leases Developed Countries" or the "poorest countries"
- • to be preferentially promoted those applicants, who have already an attitude promise.
- • to be preferentially promoted applicants, who will work in the rural area.
- • to be preferentially promoted those applicants, who will work in an important development policy sector (e.g. health service, education, woman welfare. etc.).
- • to be preferentially promoted those applicants, who have a high qualification level and professional experience.
- Applicants, who terminated and/or broke their study in Germany and can strive under the condition around a promotion that they can prove at least the successful conclusion of the basic study (usually Vordiplom) and the continuation of their training in its homeland (continuation of the study at a university/a professional school or in operational training). In small words an dual partnership degree between two universities.
- A legal claim on promotion does not exist.
- The means for promotion are limited granted. If the request was first rejected due to the limited resources, a request can be placed again, if the applicant has a residence permit for Germany.
- The grant can be transferred also in the developing country or to the account of an authorized person in Germany.
