Like every year, this year too the Frankfurt Book Fair will be taking place at the Frankfurt Messe, from 04th Oct. till 08th Oct. (Sunday). This year, the Guest Country of Honour is India, which means the focus is on Indian Literature. Any one who is some one in the Indian Literature Arena will be there.{mosgoogle}

The first three days of the Fair are reserved for trade visitors only. As a private visitor, we are allowed only at the weekend:

Saturday, 07/10/06 from 9.00 am to 6.30 pm and Sunday, 08/10/06 from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm

As a run-up to this book fair, many Indian authors like Shobha De, Vikram Seth, etc. travelled across Germany in March this year, and we had the chance to meet them personally and talked to them. We can meet all these people, and more, at the fair. Please make it a point to visit the fair.
