International Money Transfer

One can tranfers money to his/her home country in the following ways:

• At your bank in Germany , they will charge you the service fee.
• Transfer via a partner bank in Germany which has tie up / arrangement with the  local bank of the destination country. Note: Transfer to any bank electronically within Germany is free of charge.
• Through some commercial facilities like Wéstern union etc.
• In the EU , one can draw money from other countries where EURO is operating but still, if not the same bank one has to pay for the service charge. See this link for the euro countries in EU

There are some ways though not traditional.{mosgoogle}

Some banks operate internationally like Deutsche Bank, Citibank, GE etc. One can with draw money from these banks anywhere in the world for free of service charge n your local currencies.

 Citibank provides a service card apart from the EC/Konto card only to withdraw money and cannot be deposited with the service card.

However any EC card from any bank is in principle can be used to take money outside germany but a service charge or conversion charges are levied.

SEB in Germany is not the same as SEB in Sweden and if you draw money with an SEB german account , one still need to pay the surcharge, if drawn in Sweden.
