Most of you are well versed with O2 handys and services . This article gives a bit of tips and tricks.  

 Here is some information regarding what O₂  can't do , some things instantly.

Basic things to do on O2:

• Do Anmeldung (register) for BONUS program on the O2 website without fail , it gives you points for working online for your needs and for the bills you pay for calls.
• Eg: Changing your contact information (address,email..) , bank account information , online bill(rechnung) etc ..
• Make your bill as Online Rechnung which is informed (not delivered as attachment) via Email.
• Web2SMS was free in the past and no more (19 cents now).

So the main objective of O₂ to introduce the bonus program is to make customers use online features . This bonus program will NOT be activated unless we do anmeldung(register) on the website..just goto Bonusprogram and click anmeldung. and then you will be getting 200 points for doing so. and later one will be getting points for the bills you pay monthly and using online features on the o2online.de

With these bonus points one can gain some benefits..there are some things/services in offer for these bonus points (eg: a O₂ towel for 2000 points..forget about it..but the most important thing is to change your HOMEZONE^* with 200 points and in turn after changing you will get 100 points for changing it online..hence you spend only 100 points which normally if you do by calling  O₂ hotline or visiting O₂ shop will be charged 7.50 euros)

But there is a lot of confusion in changing HOMEZONE online..
well actually its not on our side. There is no one step solution.

Here it goes...

• 1. Go to Bonus program ..points einloesen and select homezone wechsel and then you will see -200 points in your bonus points.
• 2. You cannot change the homezone at this point. You have to wait for the next working day ..and on the next day goto Homezone Aendern and select new homezone and say OK and then Auftrag Senden (this is the final OK). Here it shows you an info message like "You will be charged 7.50 for changing homezone  or if you have already used bonus points it will be adjusted for the points, in German).. and then once its done you willl get an SMS for the new homezone in the next minutes or next day morning if done during the night.
• 3. You will get a discount of 6.49 euros on your bill for using this homezone change feature on o2online.de, from step 2 above.
• Changing homezone within the same city will not change your current homezone number.

  While checking homezone do NOT give  the word (street as) strasse (Eg: Give Berghamer instead of Berghamer Strasse, otherwise one will get the message saying the street is not found or homezone not possible for this address).
  
  Homezone address can be any address (where you want the homezone to be instead of where your home actually is) and necessarily NOT be your home address/contact address.
  
  Select a street which covers major part of your need. Eg: Select a street which is in between 2 places where you want  homezone to be or in stadtmitte to get for whole stadt(if small  towns)  etc..Use your intellectual mapping skills to get the  maximum benefit.
• Only one feature per day can be used on O2 online site.
• One cannot change as often the features to exploit bonus points.Minimum of 6 months duration required for the next change to get points, however its trivial and there is no concrete procedure, say some abuse may not get points and kind off. If you read the * at the bottom of the page you will find great text with numerous conditions

* HOMEZONE is another auxillary number provided for calling your handy alike land line. eg: If your HOMEZONE is registered in Munich , you will get an additional number which starts with Munich code 089 , and then the number. It just behaves like a land number for callers and is callable only if your handy is in that specified region of 1km radius or even more.
